Huawei releases a new video teaser for the nova 5

Yordan, 13 June 2019

Huawei is announcing the nova 5 series on June 21 and to promote its upper midranger series, Huawei is launching a new teaser video.

The company took it to the streets and commissioned several artists to do a rendition of the moniker on murals, and posted the result in a 15-second teaser on Weibo.

The launch next Friday is expected to include two handsets - Huawei nova 5 and Huawei nova 5i, the latter already fully leaked by TENAA. It will have a punch-hole camera and a 6.4” LCD, while the back will be occupied by four cameras (actually three + ToF sensor). The chipset is expected to be Kirin 710, coupled with 6 GB RAM.

The Huawei nova 5 should be a bit more powerful if we look at how the nova series unveiled in the past few iterations.

We expect a 48 MP main shooter, latest Kirin 980 flagship chipset and probably more RAM and storage options. The looks are likely to remain the same, and the phone will likely hit international markets under the name Huawei P20 Lite (2019).
