Huawei MediaPad T5 now available in India
Huawei's MediaPad M5 that made its way to India as the MediaPad T5 is now available for purchase exclusively through Amazon.in. The 2GB/16GB variant costs INR14,990 ($220/€195) while the 3GB/32GB model costs INR16,990 ($250/€220).
As a part of the launch offer, you also get a flip cover and Earphone AM 12 worth INR2,998 ($45/€40) for free with the purchase.
The MediaPad T5 boasts a metal construction and weighs 460 grams. It's powered by the Kirin 659 SoC and runs the outdated Android Oreo-based EMUI 8 instead of the Pie-based EMUI 9/9.1.
The tablet sports a 10.1" 1920x1200-pixel display flanked by dual speakers and comes with a 5MP rear and a 2MP front camera. It ships with a 5,100 mAh battery which draws power from a microUSB port.

Apple wasn't the first with the name ipad. Apple likes to use the lower case "i" in front of generic words, like "iPhone" and "iPad". Despite their preference for this, they were not the first in either case. Cisco had the term "I-phone" before Apple...
