Rugged Doogee S90 Pro announced with Helio P70, 5050 mAh battery

Chinese smartphone maker Doogee is introducing its latest smartphone that aims to deliver solid smartphone performance in a body tough as nails. Dubbed S90 Pro the smartphone packs IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G ingress protection as well as several modular accessories including a game controller, battery add-on and night camera module. The S90 Pro is targeted at people who need a device that can survive in tougher work conditions.

Doogee claims the phone can survive up to two weeks when submerged in water deep up to 1.5m. In addition, the metal and polycarbonate build of the S90 Pro ensure the device can survive drops, extreme temperatures, and even salt spray corrosion.

The S90 Pro is built around a 6.18" full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The front notch houses the 8MP F/2.0 super-wide selfie cam. Around the back, the phone features a 16+8MP dual rear camera setup with dual-LED flashes and a fingerprint reader.

Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 5,050 mAh battery inside the S90 Pro should enable ample autonomy and comes with support for 24W fast charging and 10W wireless charging.

The phone runs stock Android 9 Pie and comes with a programmable shortcut key and NFC support.

The S90 Pro is available globally for $299/£240 and is up for pre-order on Doogee’s site. Shipping is scheduled for later in August. Doogee is also offering a bundle with all of its mods for $459.99 (£370).

I use up to 2.5 year Doogee S60 and it works good. use it in the see 5 m deep and takes excellent videos, dropped it many times and no problem...
