There's a petition demanding a Redmi K20 price cut in India

Ro, 20 July 2019

Just a couple of days ago, Redmi finally released the much-awaited Redmi K20 and K20 Pro phones in India with aggressive pricing and great specs but it appears that there are still some Android fans who are not too keen on the pricing.

There's a petition to reduce Redmi K20's price in India

A petition on Change.org has popped up asking Redmi to lower its price of the Redmi K20 even further. The launching price of the handset is INR 22,000 and demands a price cut of INR 2,000 on the grounds of not having enough memory.

The petition then goes on ranting about phones priced at around INR 20,000 offering 8GB/128GB memory whereas K20's base RAM and storage are 6GB and 64GB, respectively.

So far, less than 400 people have signed the petition, but it's gradually growing. We'll see where this goes.

Now he is claiming that they got manipulated by xiaomi 🙄, I will say that he got manipulated by himself with his overconfidence of claiming other people getting manipulated. Who is he to claim and having the right to have a price drop to begin with. ...

Damn, in what a world we live now... give people a good smartphone with a good price and they make petition to get it cheaper. I don't see Indians going crazy about other phones priced double than the K20 line with specs that don't justify it. Jesus!
