Realme X receives first firmware update in China
The Realme X is one of the most exciting phones in the midrange market at the moment. Released back in May for Chinese users and a week ago for those in India, the phone offers a full-screen experience and Snapdragon 710 chipset for just $270.
Now the growing Oppo subsidiary is releasing the first major firmware update for the device in its home market. The patch comes with the latest July Andriod security update alongside camera and system stability improvements as well as other minor tweaks.

- Optimize system performance, improve system fluency, and enhance system stability
- Optimize the intelligent deep sleep mode to keep your phone running at low power during sleep to save power
- Improves the Google service framework networking mechanism
- Modifies gaming capacity under special scenes
- Improves the Dolby sound effects in special scenes as well as VoLTE HD Call icon
- Camera
- Adjust the 48MP sensor mode entry
While the update is live in China, there isn’t any word on international availability yet. We can expect to see the new firmware roll out to more regions in the coming weeks.
