Samsung edges out Huawei and Apple for fastest download speeds

According to a report by OpenSignal which spans 40 countries and thousands of devices, Samsung phones have higher 4G LTE download speeds compared to Huawei and Apple.

Samsung devices were found faster in 14 markets, including the US, where Samsung devices had 8.2 Mbps faster download speeds compared to the iPhone, and Norway where Samsung users were 12 Mbps faster than Huawei users, and 14 Mbps faster than iPhone users.

Apple iPhones were the fastest in UAE and Taiwan where the iPhone was 14.7 Mbps and 8 Mbps faster than Samsung rivals, respectively.

Users in Canada and Singapore recorded download speeds of 67.1 Mbps and 65.4 Mbps, ranking in second and third behind South Korea.

And if we look at a breakdown of high-tier, mid-tier and low-tier devices (depending on the LTE categories they support) Samsung is the leader in the high-tier with global download speeds of 26.6 Mbps while Apple is the leader in the mid-tier with an average of 16.5 Mbps download.

Apple does not familiar with the word AFFORDABLE. So, do not expect any affordable phones from Apple.

Good Report. Comprehensive analysis. I reckon the tests were conducted on various networks for all the phones , tier wise, from all the 3 brands. seems Huawei hasnt excelled in any country, whatsoever
