Lenovo Z6 Pro lands in Europe in a surprising strategy shift

Ro, 08 August 2019

The Lenovo Z6 Pro isn't exactly a new phone since it got released back in April in China but it's only now that it's escaping its homeland. In what is certainly a major shift for the maker it has started offering its phones outside China once more after a pause lasting a few years.

Lenovo Z6 Pro lands in Europe

The Z6 Pro can now be bought for just under €500 through Lenovo's official store in Bulgaria and it comes in two colors - Red and Green. Lenovo says the handset will pop up in other European countries via its distribution network and quite frankly, the price seems very competitive. It's going to give the likes of Asus Zenfone 6 a run for their money with its AMOLED panel and under-display fingerprint reader.

It also sports Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 and a quad-camera array (DxOMark rates it 95), so it comfortably fits the mainstream flagship category.

It's a surprise to see Lenovo back in the European market given that the company left it to Motorola a few years back. This is the first phone from the company to reach the EU and it will be interesting to see how it fares. The phone did pop up in Malaysia a few days ago as well so we might be witnessing a global expansion.

This made me laugh. Thank you! :) It's no flagship killer, but it's a really nice niche device which is something Lenovo has proved they can do once in a while. Wouldn't be surprised if they abandon support for it soon after though but you get wh...
