Realme 5 family has a successful debut in India

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth is once again proud of his company's achievements, this time having to do with how well the new Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro are doing in the Indian market.

As we revealed not long ago, the Realme 5's first sale managed to move over 120,000 units, and now Sheth has posted that the Realme 5 Pro's first sale saw over 130,000 units bought by Indian consumers.

Not just that, but both phones have stellar ratings on Flipkart, India's leading online store. The Realme 5 gets 4.5 out of 5 stars, while the Pro is even more appreciated with 4.6 out of 5.

The Realme 5 is available to grab every Tuesday at 12 PM on both Flipkart and Realme's website. It starts at just INR 9,999 and offers a 6.5-inch 720x1600 20:9 LCD touchscreen, the Snapdragon 665 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 12 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor) quad rear camera system, a 13 MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top.

The Realme 5 Pro starts at INR 13,999 and packs a 6.3" 1080x2340 LCD touchscreen, the Snapdragon 712 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor) quad rear camera system, a 16 MP selfie snapper, a 4,035 mAh battery with 20W fast charging, and it runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.

great phones at a great price. quality is improving. i think user preference will be deciding factor. hope they all do this kinds of phones. oppo / xiaomi user here
