Facebook Messenger adds new Star Wars dark theme
Ahead of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker release and in line with the recent trends dark mode aesthetics in apps, Facebook's Messenger has added a new Star Wars-inspired theme for die-hard fans.
Of course, the theme isn't released to save on battery, it's all about looking fun, although it should put less strain on your battery than the normal white theme if you are using a phone with an OLED screen.
Anyway, the theme also adds new Star Wars emojis, animated stickers and AR filters for video calls. Facebook said that the theme is limited edition but we still don't know what that means. Our best guess is that it would be available for a limited time.
And if you want to get in on the Star Wars action, make sure you have the latest version of the Messenger app on Android or iOS. You will find the Theme sub-menu in the Settings menu. And if you still can't see it, you might have to wait a few days or so before it's available in your region.

messenger is free but wifi isnt gauranteed and data is expensive/ sms costs money/ ie monthly bill/ but dont need wifi or data to use it

What are you taking about? I was talking about connecting the asphalt 8 (not7) google account to ios, Facebook is the only option. Do i really need explaining this to you. Pleace read before commenting.

The developers for your games are lazy. There are games that are cross platforms. I play games against my friends with iPhones ... I don't have a FB account.
