Realme 5i arriving in India on January 9
Realme 5i will be the latest device in the brand’s portfolio which is expected to be slightly more affordable due to less impressive front-facing camera and design of the back panel.
It is already allegedly on sale in Vietnam for the equivalent of $185 at one online retailer, and today Flipkart revealed it will offer the device in India and will launch it on January 9 at 12:30 PM local time.

If we can trust the Vietnamese online retailer он the Realme 5i specs, the will be very close to the basic Realme 5 - a 5,000 mAh battery, four cameras on the back, lined up vertically in the upper left corner, 6.5” screen with a waterdrop notch and a Qualcomm chipset, likely the Snapdragon 665.

The new phone is just another attempt by Realme to fill every possible price category, so we expect the 5i to be slightly more affordable than the realme 5 and the realme 5s and to sell for somewhere between INR7,999 ($110/€100) and INR8,999 ($125/€110).
