Week 2 in review: Apple iPhone 9 renders, 120Hz Samsung Galaxy S20 family and CES 2020

Victor, 12 January 2020

Last week was pretty eventful, thanks to CES 2020, which was one of the better editions of the show in recent years. A few new TCL phones under its own and the Alcatel brands and an interesting hidden display concept in the aptly named OnePlus Concept One device.

Far from both the Las Vegas show floor and official status, many of you wanted to see the iPhone 9 renders showing its retro iPhone 8-inspired design.

The Huawei P40 Pro and Xperia 5 also popped-up online last week, revealing different levels of detail abut themselves. So did the Xiaomi Mi 10, OnePlus 8 Lite and the Google Pixel 4a. All early rumors, of course, meant to be taken with a pinch of salt. Still, plenty of exciting devices to look forward to.

As for fresh new announcements - after a tidal wave of leaks and rumors, the Realme X50 5G finally went official with a 120Hz screen. It wasn't the only new phone by Realme this week either - the 5i arrived with quad-camera, 5,000 mAh handset a price tag of just over $120.
