We already knew Oppo was planning to launch its Find X2 series on March 6 but today the company made it official. Oppo’s official Weibo post was posted through a Find X2 Pro which confirms we’ll see at least two variants of the phone.

In addition, Oppo’s VP Brian Shen teased the one X2’s versions will with a 3K resolution, which is to say QHD+ resolution. The phone will also feature a 120Hz refresh rate panel as previously confirmed. Previously, Shen also revealed that the display of the Find X2 series will feature a “waterfall-like” design with a noticeable curve but will still retain physical volume buttons.

The Oppo Find X2 lineup will bring Snapdragon 865 chipsets, up to 12GB RAM, 5G connectivity and 30W wireless charging. The camera department will pack Sony’s 48MP IMX689 sensor with its omnidirectional autofocus. The other expected shooters are a 13MP telephoto cam with 5x hybrid zoom and an ultrawide snapper.

I can wait until March 6th to decide on my new phone, maybe a little bit longer for a review to appear here to help me a bit more. In fact it will give the S20U users a chance to settle down and report back with real world feedback.
