Top 10 trending phones of week 13

Chip, 30 March 2020

We thought week 12 was eventful, but it has nothing on the past seven days, which brought by far the most dramatic change to our trending chart ever. Only three members of last weeks' top 10 make it to the new edition with the highest placed being fifth.

Huawei is by far the biggest winner, its newly announced P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ taking the top two spots. The final position on the rostrum goes to the surprising arrival that was the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G - the most affordable smartphone to support the next-gen networks in western markets yet.

Fourth position goes to the Redmi Note 9S - the international counterpart of the Redmi Note Pro. Then in fifth we have another Redmi - the K30 Pro.

The final member of Huawei's new flagship lineup is sixth, ahead of the K30 Pro Zoom.

The first of two Samsung phones to make the chart is the upcoming Galaxy M51 - the phone getting substantial interest even before its official debut.

We then have the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra taking the final two positions. This means we only have three makers in the top 10 - a stark contrast with last week when 5 companies made it to the elite club.
