Our OnePlus 8 Pro video review is up

With our OnePlus 8 video review out the way, it’s time to turn out attention to the flagship killer member of this generation's OnePlus phones. First and foremost, the OnePlus 8 Pro is the most expensive phone in the company’s lineup to date, starting at $900/€900. For that price you’re getting one of the best displays around, the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, a versatile camera setup and some long-awaited additions like wireless charging and an official IP rating.

On paper, the 8 Pro ticks all the boxes for a 2020 flagship but does it live up to the hype and is it worth it? Ricky is here to bring you his thoughts on the OnePlus 8 Pro so sit back and enjoy.

Getting past the high asking price, the OnePLus 8 Pro delivers one of the best experiences on the Android side right now. The 120Hz QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display is among the best mobile panels out there and having the freedom to go full resolution and max out the refresh rate at the same time along with near-perfect color accuracy and peak brightness is quite pleasing.

As with other OnePlus phones, performance is top-notch thanks to the powerful internals and clean Oxygen OS. Getting to the cameras, the main 48MP shooter delivered impressive stills in both daytime and night scenarios.

The auxiliary 48MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto shooters were not as impressive, while the fourth 5MP “Color filter” sensor is just a gimmick. Elsewhere, the OnePlus 8 Pro is more or less on par with the rest of the flagship offerings - you can check out the detailed written review for even more details.

They don't steal money from innocent people. They take money from dumb people. No sane person spend money on phones every 6 months or in a year. Only dumb people buy phones like that just to show off.
