Oppo Find X2 Pro gets a Green vegan leather option

The Oppo Find X2 Pro is going green – we mean that literally as the company has started taking pre-orders for a Green vegan leather option, which will become available in China on June 1. You can find it on JD, Tmall as well as Oppo’s official online store.

Originally, the phone came in with only one “vegan leather” option – Orange. We found it to be pretty realistic, even though it’s made of polyurethane (no actual leather is involved). And it is lighter than the ceramic version, which we also appreciated, but orange isn’t for everyone.

Oppo did release a Gray vegan leather option in late March, however that’s still not available in Europe. Only the Black ceramic and Orange leather are can be found, so the Green may take its sweet time getting to the Old Continent as well.

And, finally, a short promo video for the new color:

Note that for now Green leather is paired only with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, a combo that costs CNY 7,000. The Orange one is also available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage for CNY 5,500.

You must be kidding!!! There's no such thing called "vegan leather" in reality because leather only comes from animals. So vegan leather is basically a marketing term that refers to any synthetic materials that looks and feels like the real thing. ...

Its a marketing term and nothing wrong with that.
