Samsung Galaxy S20 in Korea updated with July OTA, brings camera improvements

Enrique, 27 June 2020

A new update has just begun rolling out on the Samsung Galaxy S20 in Korea. The update arrives with the July 1 security patch from Google – which is quite a surprise considering Samsung is normally one of the worst when it comes to getting updates delivered on time.

The update has a build number G988*KSU1ATFD and weighs in over 381MB. It brings new updates to the camera, and the changelog mentions updated image quality in digitally zoomed images, as well as improved video stabilization. The voice recording app will now be able to record audio from a Bluetooth device’s microphone.

With this OTA, Samsung is discontinuing official support for its Android Auto alternative called MirrorLink. Users can continue to use MirrorLink as before, but it will no longer be updated. It should not be long before other markets begin to receive the same update as well.

i have S20 5G ( normal, not plus ) and at the beginning battery life was my only concern. I turned off all bloatware (using package disabler pro ) and now i have 8h SoT. Probably will switch to iPhone 12 though, might be my first iphone

I disagree. S10+ (Exynos) is sitting next to me. Its camera is terrible among its rival flagship. S20's able to retrieve some of its lost glory with bigger sensor but still a lot to cover.

It has a good camera spec, but it's not what I expected. The camera of Galaxy S10+ is even better faster no fucking artificial software bulshits.
