Realme today announced a new budget smartphone, dubbed Realme C11. It is powered by the Helio G35 SoC, just like the Redmi 9C, which also debuted today.

The C11 boots Android 10 with Realme UI on top and has 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage onboard. The smartphone also has a dedicated slot for a microSD card, which allows storage expansion by up to 256GB.

The C11 sports a 6.5" HD+ display with a waterdrop notch up top for the 5MP selfie camera. The back of the smartphone has a Geometric Art Design which is new for Realme smartphones and the panel also appears to have a texture that should help with the grip.

The C11 is also the first smartphone from Realme to sport a new camera layout that the company's Indian CEO Madhav Sheth talked about around two weeks ago. Realme has placed the two rear cameras (13MP main + 2MP depth) on the C11 inside a square-shaped module which also includes the LED flash and text that reads "AI Camera".

The Realme C11 doesn't come with a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, but you do get Face Unlock.

Fueling the C11 is a 5,000 mAh battery which supports reverse charging and draws power through a microUSB port at up to 10W. The company says the battery can offer 40-day standby or up to 12.1 hours of gaming, 21.6 hours of movies watching, or 31.9 hours of voice calls.

The Realme C11 is offered in Mint Green and Pepper Grey colors and is priced at RM429 ($100/€90), which puts it directly in competition with the Redmi 9C that comes with an extra rear camera and a fingerprint reader.
