Redmi Note 9 India launch scheduled for July 20
Last week we got wind of the Redmi Note 9 coming to India soon but we were left hanging in terms of the actual launch date. Now, the Redmi India Twitter account revealed that the phone is coming on July 20 with the keynote scheduled to begin at 12PM IST time.

The Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch IPS punch-hole display with an FHD+ resolution and 13MP selfie cam. The phone is powered by the Helio G85 chipset and 3/4GB RAM alongside 64/128GB storage. It also boasts a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide module and two 2MP shooters for macro stills and depth data.
The Redmi Note 9 is expected to sell via Xiaomi’s official web as well as Amazon India with a base price around INR 15,000.

What is with Xiaomi and releasing a million phones in a few months time, and with all the confusing naming schemes? I swear I just saw Redmi 10x being advertised as a new phone but now Redmi Note 9 is the newest one?
