Samsung has been pushing One UI updates to most of its flagships, but its midrangers and affordable devices in the Galaxy M lineup are also up for a surprise. Users of the Samsung Galaxy M31 and Samsung Galaxy M01s should already be receiving a notification about an incoming update that would bring some new features and the latest security patch.

The One UI 2.1 is missing some of the features from the one in the Galaxy S phones but it still brings digital wellbeing, device care, and parental control features. There are also the new navigation gestures, icons, colors and the update also brings an update to the night mode function that is now called Dark Mode.

The firmware version of the package for the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M01s is respectively M315FXXU2ATI4 and M017FXXU1BTI5. If the automatic update toggle is off, the new software can be found in Settings - Software Update, and from then begin updating the user interface.
