Honor Watch GS Pro and Watch ES coming to India on October 8

At the beginning of September, Honor announced its latest smartwatch offerings with the Watch GS Pro and Watch ES. The GS Pro is a proper rugged offering that targets hikers and outdoor lovers while the ES aims to entice buyers with its affordable price and week-long battery life.

Both new Honor watches will launch in India on October 8 at 12PM IST as confirmed by the brand’s Twitter profile. We’ve already spent quality time with both watches so you can check out our GS Pro review and the Watch ES breakdown here.

Honor Watch GS Pro and Watch ES coming to India on October 8

The Watch GS Pro features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, MIL-STD-810G rating and 5ATM water resistance packed in a reinforced polycarbonate casing. There’s sleep,blood oxygen and heart rate tracking as well as on-board GPS and a battery that lasts for over two weeks with typical usage. Retail in Europe is €250 which roughly translates to INR 21,470. Exact pricing will be unveiled at the launch event.

Watch ES retails for €99.90 in Europe, the equivalent of $116/INR 8,580. It cannot install aftermarket apps so you’re stuck with the pre-installed Huawei offerings though they offer all the essentials you need. There’s a built-in Virtual Coach that comes with step-by-step workout instructions. The Watch ES comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with always-on functionality, heart rater and blood oxygen tracking and its battery easily lasts up to 10 days with active usage.

please, does this watch have GPS reverse navigation?

Two weekends ago I took off the band 5, and forgot it on the kitchen table, leaving for three days. When I later synced, it claimed that I had a pulse around 90 the whole time... (not completely constant, but rather flat) My guess is that it picke...

Just read the comparison review thanks a lot. Yes, you are right, the Band 5 under-measures the heart rate for me as well, several times. It's annoying. I have been using it for just couple of months now and and I usually follow up the watch...
