Global version of Xiaomi Mi 11 goes through the FCC, three memory configurations mentioned

A Xiaomi exec reassured fans that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will soon be available globally. Rumors point to February launch, and now the phone has a green light from the FCC, which published its certification documents.

The agency received several units, each with different memory configurations – 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB. This suggests that the worldwide version will miss out on the 12GB RAM option.

The Mi 11 is a dual SIM phone with no microSD card slot. The FCC lists the software version as MIUI 12 (presumably, this is 12.5). The E-Label shows that the phone supports 55W fast charging, all of which we already knew.

What the FCC docs don’t show is when exactly the Mi 11 will become available worldwide and how much it will cost (it starts at CNY 4,000 in China, which works out to $620/€510 but additional taxes will need to be applied). Also, rumor has it that a Mi 11 Pro is coming next month, a Mi 11 Lite also leaked, though it’s not clear if either of those two will join the vanilla Mi 11 in going global.
