Video streaming platform Disney+ experiences rapid growth ever since its launch - hardly a surprise considering the substantial investments made in it. However it has seemingly exceeded its own expectations - its initially stated official goal was to hit 90 million subscribers in 2024 but the service has already surpassed 95 million.

Disney+ reaches 95 million subscribers

Disney+'s new goal is now 230-260 million users and, which would see it closely rival Netflix which is now sitting at 200 million subs. It's interesting to note that in December, the service had 86.8 million paid subscribers, which means that it has gained about 9 million new users in a month or so.
