Sony Xperia 10 III appears on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 765G chipset
Sony is expected to bring the Xperia 1 III and the Xperia 10 III very soon. The midranger has now appeared on Geekbench with a somewhat surprising chipset - the Qualcomm lito, better known as Snapdragon 765G.
The SoC might be hidden behind a moniker, but the Geekbench results align with other SD 765G-powered devices. What is more surprising is that Sony will go for the relatively old 5G chipset, rather than the previously rumored Snapdragon 690 5G - after all, the Xperia 10 II also went for a 6-series platform - the 665.
The Geekbench listing also revealed the new Xperia 10 III will have a 6GB RAM option, which will be a first for the midrangers - both predecessors maxed out at 4GB. Having more storage and a faster chipset raises the logical question of whether the new phone will stick to a relatively low price tag of around $350 or will come with an increased price.

I am actually considering switching to Sony since LG has exited the smartphone market, since I've used many phones including Samsung and Sony. I'm just surprised the hate Sony gets in GSMArena.

Yeah, like I said once, despite the fact that some another manufacturer make phones with better specs (at least on paper), in practice they still doesn't perform better as bad software or cooperation of wrong components ruins all the possible ad...

The camera is terrible indeed. At 385 Euros, much better all round phones with better camera available. Heck, better cameras are available on 150$ phone.
