Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will feature Samsung’s ISOCELL GN2 camera sensor

We heard it in a leak and now Xiaomi confirmed it as true, the Mi 11 Ultra will debut with Samsung’s massive 1/1.12” GN2 camera sensor. Just yesterday Xiaomi confirmed that both the Mi 11 Pro and Ultra models will debut on March 29. We're also expecting a Mi 11 Lite at the event.

The GN2 is a 50MP sensor with 1.4 µm large pixels and 4-1 pixel binning. It also boasts Dual Pixel Pro autofocus system which promises faster and more accurate focus locking. The sensor is also capable of recording 4K video at 120fps.

The Mi 11 Pro and Ultra are also said to come with a 48MP periscope lens and 5x optical zoom (120x digital) as well as a 48MP ultrawide snapper.

No website tests smartphone sensors. They only show the jpgs, which have nearly nothing to do with the raw data of the sensor. Overexposure, jpg dynamic range, tone mapping, colors, noise reduction, etc mainly depend on the algorithms of the manufact...

Mi 10 Pro was 999 Euros last year and Mi 11 is 800 Euros in Europe. So you can imagine what 11 Pro and 11 Ultra prices will be, way above 1000 Euros price range.
