Samsung Galaxy Buds2 found in APK teardown

Michail, 30 March 2021

Samsung’s fifth pair of wireless Galaxy earbuds are on the way, an APK teardown of the latest build of the Galaxy Live app reveals. The Android Police team was able to spot the reference to the Galaxy Buds2 moniker. The upcoming buds are codenamed “berry” and will serve as the true successor to the original Galaxy Buds released in 2019.

The only other bit of useful info revealed in the APK is that the Buds2 will be able to connect to multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Samsung’s current TWS earbud lineup includes last year’s Galaxy Buds Live and the Buds+ as well as the more recent Galaxy Buds Pro which came out alongside the Galaxy S21 series.

We expect to hear more about the Buds2 soon and given that the rumored Galaxy Watch4 series is coming in Q2 we could see the Buds2 launch alongside the new smartwatches.

Samsung still can't figure out how to make wireless buds with great sound! I have the Samsung Buds Live, and they are very comfortable and with great battery life, but they sound horrible in comparison with the best sounding buds out there - Bos...

How can anyone complain about more options? :D The more the better. I will rather take one more samsung model over 100 chinese brands.
