ZTE Watch GT and LiveBuds SE unveiled

ZTE held a launch event in China earlier today where we saw the debut of its S30 series phones. Alongside those, ZTE announced its Watch GT smartwatch and a new pair of TWS earphones called LiveBuds SE.

The Watch GT comes with a traditional round watch casing and a 1.39-inch AMOLED display. The lightweight aluminum alloy build and helps the Watch GT tip the scales at just 30 grams. The casing features a brushed look while the silicone watch straps come in black, gray, orange, yellow and blue colors.

Watch GT can track your heart rate as well as blood oxygen levels, sleep and stress. There’s onboard GPS and 5ATM waterproofing so you can even track you swimming sessions - one of the 16 sports modes supported. ZTE added a special touch to the football mode which can track the positions you’re playing in real-time on the field and also gives you a heat map of your most active areas on the pitch.

Other features include notification management, remote photo capture, music controls and plenty of watch faces to match your style. ZTE promises 15 days of battery life with normal use and up to 23 days in power-saving mode.

The ZTE Watch GT will retail for CNY 599 ($90) in China. International availability was not detailed.

ZTE LiveBuds SE

The LiveBuds SE have in-ear design and long stems. They come in black and white colors and feature an oval charging case. The lightweight design is complemented by an IPX4 rating which should protect them against light rain and sweat.

ZTE is bringing call noise reduction and promises up to one week battery life with normal use. The LiveBuds SE will sell for CNY 149 ($23) in China.
