Our Samsung Galaxy A52 video review is out

The Samsung Galaxy A50 and A51 were among the most popular phones on the market in the past two years and now the Galaxy A52 will try and replicate that success. Let’s see what it brings to the table and whether it’s a worthy upgrade over its popular predecessors in our video review.

The Galaxy A52 brings a fresh new design with a plastic back and large rectangular camera cutout on the back. Despite the plastic back the phone feels solid and boasts an IP67 dust/water resistance. The display still measures in at 6.5-inches and boasts a FHD+ resolution but now supports 90Hz refresh rate.

The camera department is headlined by a 64MP primary camera which also comes with OIS which is not something you see that often in the midrange sector. Shots are outputted in 16MP resolution by default and look adequate though with noticeable noise. The 12MP ultrawide snapper gives you usable shots with visible softness around the edges. The 5MP macro cam is actually impressive compared to the regular 2MP units on other phones.

Performance from the Snapdragon 720G is on par with other phones running on the same SoC and handles daily tasks with ease. The 4,500 mAh battery managed 105 hours in our endurance rating test which is a respectable number.
