Made with customer feedback in mind, the latest build brings a lighter look more in line with the Windows version of the app. The new update is already being pushed on Android phones while the iOS update is coming later.

The big new redesign features five sections of controls instead of the previously seen rooms assigned to devices. There’s a Favorites section with fast access to the most used devices and their assigned scenes. The Devices tab presents all your linked smart gadgets. Life adds a touch of additional SmartThings services like SmartThings Find, SmartThings Cooking and HomeCare Wizard.

Automations brings controls for scenes that follow the if-then principle for triggering commands and actions across your connected devices. Last on the list is the Menu section which combines settings, notifications and history tabs.

What it needs are more devices. Someone must tell them not only Samsung makes TVs and such.

It's definitely not a true copy of the Live Tile, but it's not that far off.
