Realme CEO promises Narzo 30, Narzo 30 5G arrival in India this month

Sagar, 14 June 2021

The Realme Narzo 30 and Narzo 30 5G smartphones have been out for quite some time, but they are still unavailable in India - Realme’s biggest market. This will change this month, as confirmed by Madhav Sheth - a CEO at the company for the Asian country (and Europe for good measure).

Realme launched the Narzo series last year for “young players,” and now, 12 months and 5 million customers later, the brand will complete the Narzo 30 lineup that is already represented by the Narzo 30 Pro 5G and the Narzo 30A.

The Narzo 30 and Narzo 30 5G sound like the same phone with a different chipset, but there’s more to that. The 4G LTE variant, powered by a Helio G95 chipset, has the triple cameras lined up vertically and has a tad different footprint, which makes them essentially two completely different smartphones.

We expect the Narzo 30 to cost about INR9,999 in India, while the Narzo 30 5G should be no more than INR13,999 - that’s the price of the Realme 8 5G which is the same phone without the fancy colors and shapes on the back.
