Moto E40 details leak: 6.5" 90Hz display (720p+), triple camera with 48MP main sensor

Motorola unveiled the Moto E20 last week, an Android 11 Go edition phone. The company is also working on a slightly more upscale model, the Moto E40, as revealed by @evleaks.

The phone will be powered by an unnamed octa-core processor. Unfortunately, without any more specifics we can’t tell if its the Unisoc T606 found inside the E20 or something beefier (the T606 isn't that too bad, it includes two Cortex-A75 cores and six A55 cores).

But the E40 will feature 90Hz refresh rate for its 6.5” 720p+ display, unlike the E20, which runs its 6.5” panel at 60Hz. This implies full-fat Android as we’re yet to see a Go edition phone with a high refresh rate screen.

Also, the triple camera setup will have a 48 MP main sensor, which would be another first for Android Go phones. The function of the other two modules is unknown – could be ultra wide and depth sensor, could be macro + depth.

Either way, the specs sound quite similar to the Moto G20, which uses a Unisoc T700 chipset, along with a 6.5” 720p+ 90 Hz display and a 48+8+2+2 MP quad camera on the back. It’s quite possible that the E40 and G20 are related.

That's okay, some people get so used to with junk loaded phones that they begin to hate the clean ones.😂

At this point I mostly want to ignore moto and nokia releasing new phones again and again but yea I guess.
