As promised, Realme today introduced the Realme 8i in Europe. It comes in Space Black and Stellar Purple colors and has two memory options - 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB, priced at €199 and €219, respectively. All versions are already available for purchase through Realme's European website, and you can get one with a €20 discount until October 20.
The Realme 8i is built around a 6.6" FullHD+ 120Hz LCD with 6-level refresh rates and an advertised peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the 8i has the Helio G96 SoC, and on the software front, you get Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0, with Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0's early access build arriving in Q1 2022.
For photography, the 8i comes with a total of four cameras - a 16MP selfie shooter inside the punch hole, with the triple camera system on the rear comprising 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP monochrome units.
The Realme 8i is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 18W. The smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for password-less unlocking.
