Google brings Adaptive Sound to Pixel 6 duo with latest update

Ro, 10 November 2021

The Adaptive Sound feature aims to improve sound quality by dynamically adjusting it depending on your surroundings. It uses the microphone to do that and while the feature has been available for Google's older Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 phones it was initially missing on the newer Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

Not for long, apparently. According to a tweet from @MishaalRahman, Google is quietly seeding an OTA update that enables the Adaptive Sound feature to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners. There's no official word for now and we don't know when to expect the update.

It looks like a staged rollout so you might have to wait a little while before it arrives.

In your dreams, you are one of the trols ,dream on, I knew you don't have the pixel 6 right from the start. Nice try 😂😂 Only if you are blind you don't notice the difference.

I have Pixel 1,5,6 Pro. Turning off animations in settings won't make the fingerprint sensor any faster. And now I know ... what a lame attempt.

Now I know for sure that you don't have a pixel 6/6 Pro ; once you turn the animation off ; the phone is really fast.
