The Redmi K50 was reported to arrive in February 2022, and today we have an official confirmation from the company. The Pro phone will have 120W fast charging, as well as the already expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Xiaomi confirms February arrival for the Redmi K50 series, Pro will have 120W fast charging

The battery of the Redmi K50 Pro will have 4,700mAh capacity, which will be filled from 0 to 100% in 17 minutes, the brand claimed in its post. It is the same 120W standard as on the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and some phones under the Xiaomi brand, and now it's making it to the K lineup.

Redmi claims the new K50 Pro will have dual vapor chamber, for twice as powerful liquid-cooled heat dissipation with super-large area, hence the freezing aesthetics of the poster. It will be the “coldest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone”, Xiaomi says.

Fast charge means heat and heat is the problem. They have massive heat pipes, so life should be less than 5% difference if you charge 5w vs 100w
