Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S appears on FCC signaling nearing release

Ro, 06 January 2022

We still don't have an official confirmation on when the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S will be announced but an FCC listing suggests that it's pretty close. And it's in line with earlier rumors about a February launch.

The listing itself doesn't tell much but it does confirm the model numbers 2201117TY and 2201117SY. The document also says that the phone will run MIUI 13 out of the box. There are also listed the three memory options - 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB.

From what we know so far from earlier rumors, we can expect a 108MP main camera aided by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units and a MediaTek SoC. The rest remains a mystery.
