Xiaomi brand Redmi is going to launch a new laptop this week, the company confirms on Weibo. This Thursday March 17 at 7PM, the RedmiBook Pro 2022 will be announced for the Chinese market.

This time, the RedmiBook Pro is positioned to be upgraded to challenge the peak performance of thin and light notebooks for your reckless love, and to create a ruthless character with soaring combat power, whose performance is beyond imagination.

Recently, the RedmiBook Pro (2022) was spotted on Geekbench 5 running Intel’s newest 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12650H CPU. This processor has 10 cores including six performance cores and four efficiency cores. This CPU boosts up to 4.7GHz and 45W power draw. The laptop scores 1800 on the single-core benchmark and 11872 on the multi-core test.

Nothing more is official about the new RedmiBook but based on the quoted statement from the announcement news, we are expecting to see a new laptop with updated Intel CPU that’s also quote thin and light.
