The Oppo K10 series is ready to enter the smartphone market, seven months after the arrival of the K9 lineup. The first phone will be the Oppo PGIM10, which is going to sell as Oppo K10 Pro. This device popped up on TENAA with images and specs, revealing it will be a competitive upper-tier midranger.

The chipset of the Oppo K10 Pro will be Snapdragon 888, as the CPU frequency is listed as 2.8 GHz. RAM will be 8GB or 12GB, and storage choices are 128GB and 256GB. There is a 6.62” AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution, and a fingerprint scanner underneath.

Oppo will stick to a triple-camera solution, but the design is now closer to the Reno7 series with two big circles positioned vertically, while a third one will be on the side. The sensors for the main camera will have 50MP resolution, while the ultrawide snapper will do 8MP stills. There's also a 2MP unit, which is either a macro camera or a depth sensor. The selfie camera resolution is 16MP.

The battery capacity is listed by TENAA as 2,440mAh, but this is just one of the two cells in the device. The minimal charge is 4,880mAh, meaning the typical will be 5,000 mAh. The PGIM10 phone was already certified at 3C with 80W fast charging capabilities.

The phone is expected to arrive later this month.

That's funny. You do realise that it's the other way around right. Oppo has been using the k series since October 2008. It was a big hit in China and Redmi started their K series about 7 months later!
