Moto E32 quietly becomes official in Europe

Vlad, 04 May 2022

Last month a couple of leaks showed us the Moto E32 which was supposedly coming soon, and today Motorola has decided to make it official with zero fanfare. The listing simply went up in Europe, and that's it - no fancy event, nothing like that.

The Moto E32 comes in two colors, Misty Silver and Slate Grey. The former seems to be available first, with the latter coming soon. There's only one configuration of the phone in Europe, and that has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It has a recommended retail price of €149.

So let's see what that amount of cash gets you. The Moto E32 has a 6.5-inch 720x1600 LCD touchscreen with 90 Hz refresh rate, the Unisoc T606 chipset at the helm, a 16 MP main rear camera flanked by a 2 MP macro cam and a 2 MP depth sensor, a single down-firing speaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, IP52-compliant splash protection, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

That said, the charger that comes in the box is disappointingly only 10W. Adding insult to misery, the Moto E32 runs Android 11 out of the box, and there's no word on whether it will get any updates to newer iterations of the OS. Maybe one if you're lucky? To Android 12 released by Google last year? Who knows.

Anyway, the Moto E32 measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49 mm and it weighs 184g. It's live now in Belgium and should make it to other markets soon.

So, what are you trying to say? That every phone these days is great because it gets the job done? Yeah sure, every smartphone can do all the basics, but there are other phones on market who offer more and with lower price. When I say more, I'm ...

Hi, my work phone is a Samsung A12. The performance is slow. The screen is pretty bad. But the Samsung UI is so pleasant that I don't really mind. I also use a Poco X3 NFC as my personal phone.

And never becomes official in the USA, keeping us with the Moto G Pure that is inferior in just about every way for the same price
