Top 10 trending phones of week 23

Chip, 12 June 2022

Week 23 brings us one of the more intriguing installments of our trending chart with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra topping it. The Korean flagship was already there in February, but then settled to the lower half of the top 10 for a good while, before launching a fightback a few weeks back.

Now that it's completed, the Redmi Note 11 had to settle for second, while the Galaxy A53, which has led the chart for the most weeks this year completes the rostrum.

Last week's leader, the Redmi Note 11T Pro+, is down to fourth, while the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is fifth for yet another week.

Newly unveiled Realme Neo 3T sits in sixth, ahead of the Samsung pair of the Galaxy A13 and A73.

Which leads us to the final two positions, which go to the iPhone XR and iPhone X - a couple of very dated Apple smartphones. It's not often we have three Cupertino smartphones in the top 10, let alone one of them being close to 5 years old. The iPhone 6 pulled it off back in the day as clearance sales brought it back to prominence.

We wave goodbye to the Tecno Spark 9 Pro and the Honor 70 Pro+, which made the top 10 last week, but failed to repeat the achievement this time around.

See you next time!
