Reliance Jio tests Redmi K50i 5G support, Redmi Buds 3 Lite launching alongside it

Xiaomi and Reliance Jio teamed up to test the upcoming Redmi K50i on the carrier’s 5G network ahead of its July 20 launch. Redmi K50i will boast a total of twelve 5G bands – namely the n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28a, n38,n40, n41, n77 and n78 bands. The phone successfully passed several real-world tests like streaming 4K content and cloud gaming. Xiaomi also confirmed the phone will arrive with a 144Hz refresh rate screen.

Redmi K50i is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro+ so we know what elese to expect in terms of specs. Xiaomi India already confirmed it will be equipped with the Dimensity 8100 chipset.

We should also see a 64MP main cam alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter and 2MP macro module and a 16MP selfie cam. The battery should come in at 4,400 mAh with support for 120W wired fast charging.

In related news, Redmi K50i will be joined by the Redmi Buds 3 Lite wireless earphones. These will feature 6mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, up to 18 hours of playtime and IP54 splash resistance.

I have already used this phone which is good in performance and rest everything is falling apart. Camera is shit in front of Poco F4 5G which is similar priced device. Oppo Reno 8 Pro is top camera smartphone in my opinion.

At the price we are getting data at, we should not expect anything. Jio is not going to launch 5G on mmwave and n28(700Mhz). You will be getting 100Mhz on n78(3500Mhz), for next two years it will be sufficient, will be capable enough to give speeds o...

Nothing will change, 5G isn't a big step Shameful they are using 700mhz and 3.5ghz network, no sign of mmWave even in cities.
