Nubia Z40S Pro video highlights key specs and design

The Nubia Z40S Pro is launching tomorrow and we’re getting a lengthy promotional video to fill us in on its key specs and design.

The camera setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary sensor with a 35mm equivalent lens and OIS alongside a 50MP ultrawide module that doubles as a macro cam and also has OIS and an 8MP 125mm equivalent periscope module with 5x optical zoom. We also get to see the LED ring light on the back. The phone will also get a sliding shortcut button on the side which will help users switch to “street photography mode”.

Z40S Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a ten-layer cooling system. We also get a glimpse at the X-axis linear vibration motor. There’s a flat 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The panel sports a centered selfie cam and DC dimming. The phone is also outfitted with stereo speakers and a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired charging.

Nubia Z40S Pro will be available in black and green colors as well as a limited Ling Cage edition.

Eww never punchole gaming phone cuz accidental touches

I believe it's using a flexible oled panel similar to the Nothing phone which allows the screen to wrap round the bottom to compensate for the ribbons that come out of it. In other words they don't have to leave space for the ribbons as the...
