Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A53 get August 2022 Android security patch

Samsung continues to release the August 2022 Android security patch for its devices, and the latest smartphones to receive the patch are the Galaxy A52 (4G model) and Galaxy A53.

The software update that upgrades the Android security patch level on the Galaxy A52 comes with firmware version A525FXXU4BVG2, while the update for the Galaxy A52 has firmware version A536EXXU3AVGA.

Samsung is rolling the August 2022 Android security patch for these smartphones in Russia, but the rollout should expand to more countries soon.

If you live in Russia and haven't received the new software update on your Galaxy A52/A53 yet, you can check for it manually by heading to the smartphone's Settings > Software update menu.
