The Asus ROG Phone 6D series is now official and the ROG Global YouTube account posted several videos for the newly announced phones.

The first video details the design and specs of the new ROG Phone 6D series with some nifty CGI. The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has the ROG Vision color display on the back while the standard ROG Phone 6D settles for an RGB LED-illuminated logo. Both phones are equipped with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9000+ chipset.

The video also shows the optional AeroActive Portal cooling accessory, 6,000 mAh battery, Samsung 165Hz AMOLED display and AirTrigger 6 capacitive buttons.

Asus also shared an official unboxing video for the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. The device coms bundled with the AeroActive Cooler 6 accessory which can attach to the phone’s back and help keep thermals in check. Asus is still bundling a 65W charger and braided USB-C cable in the box.

The Ultimate edition ROG Phone 6D comes with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and also sports the ROG Vision PMOLED display on its back. Another neat feature shown in the video is the AeroActive Portal, which provides a direct path to the phone’s internal cooling components, which, combined with the ActiveCooler 6 gives direct access to the cooling fans.

The third new video is an unboxing of the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition – this one was made in collaboration with DC comics and is based on the ROG Phone 6 for the US and Canada while other regions like Europe will get the Dimensity 9000+ powered ROG Phone 6D.

The phone comes with a hard-shell Batman carrying case with a Batman Aero Case, a Batman SIM ejector pin and an LED bat signal searchlight that lets you project the famous bat signal onto any surface. You also get the 65W charging adapter and braided USB-C cable. The phone’s back houses an Aura RGB Batman logo while the software side has custom Batman themes, live wallpapers, charging animations and Always-On Display (AOD) options.

I wish Asus gave use their ROG phones minus all the gamer aesthetic. Their phones are phenomenal, they're the same way One Plus was back when One Plus was interesting.
