Yordan, 03 November 2022

The iQOO is preparing a new Neo7 smartphone, reveals noted tipster Digital Chat Station. It will be called Neo7 SE model and will run on the yet-unannounced Dimensity 8200 chipset.

According to the tip, the new platform will have a CPU with one major Cortex-X2 core at 3.1 GHz that is also the leading unit in the Dimensity 9000 - Mediatek’s current flagship chipset.

The iQOO Neo7 SE is expected to be a slightly less powerful version of the already announced Neo7. It will arrive with 120W fast charging, and we are yet to see whether it will follow its predecessor's footsteps - the Neo6 SE was renamed as Neo 6 on the global market.

Getting back to the Dimensity 8200, this is the first time we hear about such a chipset. The leakster claimed Xiaomi will put it in the Redmi K60, while vivo is also planning to use the platform for the upcoming S series. With a Mediatek event scheduled for next week we might hear more about it soon enough.

Good

I'll never buy another Chinese phone ever again.. Even OnePlus is dead for custom ROMs.. any real android fan should do the same. Pixel only from here on in.

Well a lot of people are stupid and just see the brand. No matter if the 8 gen 1 is so bad, people sees Snapdragon 8 and buys.
