Samsung Galaxy A53 is now receiving One UI 5 with Android 13

Yordan, 09 November 2022

Samsung is rapidly expanding the availability of its latest OneUI 5.0 to its smartphone lineup. Today we have the first mid-ranger join the list as the Galaxy A53 got its scheduled November update. The Netherlands is seemingly the first market where the update is seeded, but barring major issues more should follow in the next few days.

According to the screenshots, obtained by GalaxyClub, the build number is A536BXXU4BVJG. The total size of the One UI 5.0 package is 2,020MB, and it brings updates to all major Samsung apps, as well as October 2022 security update.

The Android 13-based interface comes with new lock-screen customizations, smarter app and widget recommendations and Modes - a feature that offers custom settings to the phone, depending on the part of the day.

Yes, on my device there is a little stuttering, especially when I open it from the lockscreen and when minimizing the application. It's a little annoying although it wears off over time.

Received the update here in India, no major issues just a bit stutter here and there in my device especially if you consider your using a device which had 120hz refresh rate

Does anyone know when T-Mobile will be releasing the update here in the US?
