WhatsApp beta for Android now supports companion mode and link to tablet

WhatsApp now allows beta users to link their accounts to a secondary phone and an Android tablet. The latest WhatsApp beta for Android - version 2.22.24.18 brings companion mode which allows you to link a secondary phone to your primary account. WhatsApp lets you link up to four Android phones to your primary account and you get to access all the regular WhatsApp features and message encryption.

Companion mode is activated by going to the options menu on the registration screen and selecting “Link a device” from the dropdown menu. The feature is only rolled out to some beta users for now while a wider rollout will take more time.

The latest WhatsApp beta for Android also brings the ability to link an Android tablet. This feature is only available to some beta testers for now and is found in the linked devices beta option in the devices section of the settings menu. The pairing process is straightforward and done via scanning a QR code.

You can use WhatsApp beta on a phone now. I've got a Samsung which allows a second install. Initially it will ask for a phone number, but if you go into developer mode, change screen width to 600 (make a note of the original), then go to whats...

Telegram is filled with spammers and scammers. Not a good platform. Unlike Whatsapp, they vet every businesses and make sure it is valid and not shady. Look at twitter and the blue checkmark.. that's telegram in a nutshell.
