Samsung Galaxy A54 and A34 specs leak

Ro, 22 February 2023

The Samsung Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 are two of the most anticipated midrangers this year. Finally, we now have some more detailed specs to go through after the two smartphones appeared in leaked renders earlier.

The leak comes from 91mobiles and shows the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A34 color options. More interestingly it confirms the Galaxy A54 will ship with a 6.4-inch 120Hz OLED panel, Exynos 1380 SoC and up to 8GB/256GB memory. A 50MP F/1.8 main camera on the back will be joined by 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide and 5MP macro units, while the selfie camera will have a 32MP sensor.

The phone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.

The report also mentions IP67 certification against water and dust and retained 3.5mm audio jack. It appears then that the A54 will be a minor upgrade over last year's A53, except for the chipset, which we hope will be a significant step forward.

The Samsung Galaxy A34, on the other hand, is rumored to run on a Dimensity 1080 chip with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and feature a 6.6" 120Hz OLED screen. The camera setup on the back will consist of a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter, a 5MP macro unit and a depth sensor. The front is equipped with a 13MP f/2.2 snapper.

The Galaxy A34 will feature an identical 5,000mAh battery with the same 25W charging support.

Both handsets are said to be running OneUI 5.0 on top of Android 13, although chances are they will launch with the newer OneUI 5.1.
