Google Pixel 7a's promo video leaks ahead of official unveiling

Sagar, 10 May 2023

The Google Pixel 7a, which will be unveiled at Google I/O 2023 later today, has appeared in an official promo video leaked by OnLeaks. It doesn't reveal anything new but corroborates previous leaks and shows the Pixel 7a in different colors (the red version leaked late last month isn't included). You can watch the clip below.

Previous leaks revealed the Google Pixel 7a would come with the Tensor G2 SoC, Titan M2 chip, and 6.1" FullHD+ 90Hz display. It will have an IP67 rating, support wireless charging, and feature three cameras - 64MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and 13MP selfie. The smartphone will also come with Photo Unblur, Magic Eraser, and Night Sight.

The Google Pixel 7a is rumored to cost $499 and go on sale immediately after the unveiling, unlike the Pixel Fold, which will also be unveiled at Google I/O 2023 but hit the stores on June 27.

That has been the norm for more than 5 years. Fast charging doesn't need to be +30W. Fast charging is anything above 5V x 2A (10W), mostly anything above 15W.

Yeah in that regard 7a does win. Also design is a 7a strong suit (compact + water resistance). But in terms of display, battery and performance I stand by what I said for F5 Pro. It's just the better gaming and media consumption device.
