Redmi K60 Ultra benchmarked with Dimensity 9200+, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max to have 14" display

An early report on the Redmi K60 Ultra claimed that it will use the Dimensity 9200, but the phone will actually be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ instead. The plus version of the chip runs its Cortex-X3 core at 3.35GHz, the three A715 cores at 3.0GHz and the four A510 cores at 2.0GHz (up from 3.05/3.0/1.8GHz on the non-plus version).

These are exactly the numbers seen in this Geekbench 6.1.0 result for the Xiaomi 23078RKD5C, which is presumed to be the K60 Ultra. The motherboard is listed as “corot” – this code name is shared with the Xiaomi 13T Pro, so the two phones must be related (more details on the 13T Pro here).

This particular Redmi K60 Ultra ran Android 13 and was equipped with 16GB of RAM (the base version should have 12GB). There are actually a few results with wildly varying single and multi-threaded scores, so the software is likely far from being ready for release.

The K60 Ultra is expected to have a 6.7” OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The battery capacity should be 5,000mAh or 5,500mAh and the device was recently certified for 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 13T Pro name will likely be the one used outside of China.

By the way, the Redmi K60 Ultra announcement is expected to be a part of a larger event, which will also bring the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and the Redmi Pad 2.

Speaking of, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will earn its name by becoming the company’s first 14” tablet, according to Digital Chat Station. This is up from the 11” display on the Pad 6 Pro (2,880 x 1,800px). DCS says that the Max version will be powered b the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset as the Pro.

The rest should be more or less the same too, meaning a 144Hz IPS LCD with stylus support, 50MP rear and 20MP front cameras, quad speakers and a large, fast charging battery (the Pro has 8,600mAh capacity, but that will probably be scaled up for the Max). Note that the Pro model is not available outside of China, so there is a chance that the Max won’t be either.

The Redmi Pad 2 hyperlink redirects to Realme Pad 2 instead. And it hasn't been fixed since I mentioned it yesterday. How can the "tech experts" who are supposed to know more about this field than anyone else make such a mistake and do...
