iQOO Z8 (Dimensity 8200) and iQOO Z8x (Snapdragon 6 Gen 1) spotted at Geekbench

The iQOO Z7 Pro isn’t even out yet (it’s coming soon, according to an official teaser), but we’re already starting to see benchmark scores from the Z8 series. Note that there could be some weirdness with the names in different regions, otherwise it would be strange to have Z7 and Z8 phones launching at the same time.

Anyway, the vivo V2314A is expected to go by the name “iQOO Z8” and its Geekbench 6.1.0 score points to a Dimensity 8200 chipset (paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM here). For comparison, the Z7 Pro showed a Snapdragon 782G in its Geekbench scorecard (and 12GB of RAM again).

Geekbench 6.1.0 scorecards: iQOO Z8 (V2314A) Geekbench 6.1.0 scorecards: iQOO Z8x (V2312A)
Geekbench 6.1.0 scorecards: iQOO Z8 (V2314A) • iQOO Z8x (V2312A)

Moving on to the other device, the vivo V2312A will probably go under the name “iQOO Z8x”. This one has 8GB of RAM and is powered by the rare Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. This is actually a newer part (4nm Samsung vs. 6nm TSMC) than the 782G, but it runs its Cortex-A78 cores at a lower clock speed (all four at 2.2GHz vs. one at 2.7GHz and three at 2.4GHz). But you could probably tell from the benchmark results.

Anyway, iQOO already has a couple of phones that use the Dimensity 8200 (e.g. Neo7 and Neo7 SE), but none with the 6 Gen 1.

The iQOO Z8 will have a 120Hz LCD, according to rumors, plus a 5,000mAh battery with fast 120W charging. The iQOO Z8x will change the balance with a larger 6,000mAh battery and a slower (but still quite fast) 80W charger (just like the Z7x).

Factos & atleast you'd not need to be worried about green line issues.

Read article carefully

Not all LCDs are bad. If you pick a good LCD, it can even be better than some average AMOLEDs.
