Oppo F25 Pro arrives with Dimensity 7050

Oppo just launched the F25 Pro mid-range in India. The smartphone runs on Dimensity 7050 and has a light and thin body and an unusual camera island design. The phone was previously released as Oppo Reno11 F in Thailand.

The F25 Pro is built around a 10-bit 6.7” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate. The HDR10+ panel hosts a 32 MP selfie camera with a Sony IMX615 sensor in its centrally-placed punch hole.

The main camera on the back has a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B sensor and f/1.7 aperture. There's also an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 MP depth sensor in the bottom circle of the island.

The F25 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging, which should fill up the battery in 48 minutes. According to testing in Oppo labs, the phone has “48-month fluency protection”, which means the F25 Pro will run with no lag for 4 years.

The phone ships with ColorOS 14, which brings some software features like auto background blur of any image or File Dock, which allows the transfer of data between different apps with a swipe.

Oppo is offering the F25 Pro in two lovely paint jobs – Lava Red or Ocean Blue. The 8/128 GB version is priced at INR23,999 ($290/€265), while the 8/256 GB option costs INR25,999 ($315/€290).

The phone is up for pre-order on the company website, Amazon India, Flipkart, and select offline stores. The sale is scheduled to begin on March 4.

The updates aren't much of an issue, because Samsung keeps crippling their A and M series phones with gobs of bloatware

But it's completely possible to implement FM radio without a 3.5mm jack. Take a look at the Nokia X30, XR21 and the slimmest phone of 2015 (an Oppo phone without a 3.5mm jack)

The only reason why I like Nokia's phones, because all of them have a FM radio transmitter included
